Axon is looking to solve critical safety and justice issues with their ecosystem of devices and cloud software, specifically through the development of AI-powered software
Requirements
- 3+ years software engineering experience (IC) with a track record of delivering impactful products end-to-end
- 2+ years working with Golang and/or Python
- Experience with Azure, AWS, Terraform and Kubernetes
- Strong technical foundation across backend or full-stack development with curiosity and adaptability to experiment with emerging AI technologies
- Experience or interest in LLM, RAG, and/or cloud-based AI applications
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship end-to-end software for AI-driven investigative and productivity tools, from prototype through early access and GA
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and AI teams to test and scale new ideas that advance Axon’s AI capabilities
- Help deliver Project Deep Freeze into production in 2026, ensuring it meets technical, ethical, and operational standards
- Experiment with internal AI productivity tools that reshape how Axon teams work and build software
