Microsoft Business Industry Copilot (BIC) group is looking to enhance engineering productivity, security, and compliance by consolidating multiple developer needs into strategic projects aligned with organizational objectives. The role aims to assist BIC engineers in addressing technical challenges, developing skills, and facilitating cross-functional initiatives to improve agility and efficient deployment of reliable code.
Requirements
- coding in languages including, but not limited to, C++, C-Sharp, or Python
- 2+ years experience in big data, machine learning (ML), natural language processing (NLP), and search technologies.
- 2+ years experience with cloud services, DevOps, and AI.
- 1+ years experience using Azure DevOps and GitHub for project tracking
- Familiarity with command line, PowerShell and OSS software
Responsibilities
- Define business requirements and acceptance criteria in partnership with key stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Drive engineering initiatives across teams, including planning, status reporting, risk identification, and mitigation.
- Oversee engineering system operations, including incident management, build pipeline monitoring, troubleshooting, and integration support.
- Manage project timelines, estimates, milestones, and course corrections to ensure on-time delivery of solutions that meet business needs.
- Automate program management processes using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Power BI to improve efficiency.
- Support geo-expansion efforts and participate in security and infrastructure initiatives to maintain compliance and service reliability.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, implement technology upgrades, and maintain governance for internal tools and permissions.

- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Effective analytical skills with experience in customer engagement and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and adapt to new challenges.
- Demonstrated success in building relationships with technical and business stakeholders, including senior leaders.
