Bugcrowd is seeking to design and develop a cloud-native, API-first platform that powers their patented data and AI-driven Security Knowledge Platform, to build scalable, reliable, and secure integrations connecting their platform with customer systems, security tools, and workflow engines.
Requirements
- Strong technical skills in API development, microservices, and cloud-native architecture
- Deep understanding of AI tools, scalability, security, and reliability best practices
- Experience with enterprise UI frameworks and design systems
- Hands-on experience with event streaming platforms such as Kafka or similar
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies, backlog management, and stakeholder communication
- Proven experience in the cybersecurity domain
- Experience with cloud-native architectures and event streaming platforms like Kafka
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, API-first architecture for third-party integrations
- Lead transition efforts towards cloud-native, service-oriented platforms
- Build and maintain integrations connecting our platform with customer systems, security tools, and workflow engines
- Ensure high reliability, performance, and security of integration workflows and interfaces
- Develop consistent service patterns with strong guarantees around interfaces and performance
- Enhance internal engineering tools supporting security triage and vulnerability management
- Leverage expertise in Kafka or similar event streaming platforms to optimize data flow
Other
- 4+ years of professional experience in software engineering or related fields
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Excellent problem-solving, prioritization, and decision-making skills
- Ability to mentor engineers and contribute to engineering excellence
- Flexible remote work environment with occasional in-person meetings
