The Microsoft Store team is looking to ensure that Windows users can easily discover and engage with the experiences they need most, and that Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) can innovate, differentiate, and exceed their business goals on Windows.
Requirements
- 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- 2+ years of experience in Windows application development technologies and frameworks such as UWP, WinUI3, WPF or Win32, MVVM
- Experience in Windows Programming using WinRT/COM with solid understanding of the Windows architecture.
- Fluent at coding in languages including but not limited to C, C-Sharp, XAML, Swift, Java, JavaScript or Python.
- Deep understanding of Windows app ecosystem.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Works with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a feature.
- Supports identification of dependencies, and the development of design documents for a product feature with oversight.
- With guidance, learns to create and implement code for a product, service, or feature reusing code as applicable.
- Assists and learns about breaking down work items into tasks and provides estimation.
- Reviews current developments and proactively seeks new knowledge that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.
