Uber's Finprod org is looking to develop the next generation of financial products that empower customers to achieve their financial goals by building engaging solutions and tackling complex technical challenges unique to Uber's business.

Requirements

• 2+ years working with Android applications and technical software engineering experience
• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java , strong knowledge of both programming languages commonly used for Android development
• Experience with Android SDK, strong knowledge of Android's core libraries, tools, and frameworks.
• Knowledge of Android UI/UX Design Principles, experience designing responsive and intuitive user interfaces
• Product engineering
• Scalability engineering
• Distributed systems

Responsibilities

• Design financial services solutions
• Coding in Android (Kotlin or Java)
• Collaborate on code and design reviews, and write unit and snapshot tests to achieve full test coverage and quality standards for your code.
• Work collaboratively with other engineers and cross functional stakeholders, like Product Managers, Designers and Data Scientists

Other

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Unless formally approved to work fully remotely, Uber expects employees to spend at least half of their work time in their assigned office.
