Requirements
- 2+ years of professional work experience in back-end or server-side software development.
- Proficiency in Java
- Experience with database technologies (SQL or NoSQL).
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and distributed systems concepts.
- Experience with large-scale experimentation or A/B testing platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS) and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Exposure to streaming or messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis).
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable back-end services that support experimentation workflows.
- Develop and optimize APIs to integrate experimentation into PlayStation's products and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners (product, data science, design, quality) to translate requirements into reliable technical solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while contributing to code reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Support the evolution of our back-end architecture to improve reliability, scalability, and performance.
