Responsibilities
- Build highly-performant, reliable products used by hundreds of millions of customers every day
- Build and maintain backend services and solutions to support user-facing products, downstream services, or infrastructure tools and platforms used across Uber
- Create a reliable infrastructure to support large scale (hundreds of participants), recurring, and scheduled group orders
- Build the backbone technology that will power meal planning & ride calling experiences for both guests, customers, employees, and employers
- Provide merchants with intuitive tools to serve quality food and services for enterprise customers
- Enable opportunities for couriers to increase their income with higher incentives, which leads to better delivery service for employees and employers
- Power the guest and employee experience within the Uber application, powering both the trip planning and meal delivery corporate solutions
Other
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related field OR 3-year full-time Software Engineering work experience
- 3-year total technical software engineering experience in one or more of the following areas
- Collaborate with stakeholders within and across teams
- Collaborate with product managers, engineering teams, sales and operations teams
