LexisNexis Risk Solutions is looking for a Software Engineer II to develop impactful solutions by designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade web applications and supporting a low-latency query engine for real-time analytics.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Java, C++ and XML.
- Proficiency with data manipulation languages.
- Ability to work with simple data models.
- Possess current experience with C++, Java, XML and Linux.
- Familiarity of industry best practices — code coverage.
- Basic knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Knowledge of data storage subsystems.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade web applications.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, and QA engineers, to deliver robust, scalable, and high-performing software solutions.
- Writing and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.
- Completing simple bug fixes.
- Working closely with other development team members to understand product requirements and translate them into software designs.
- Operating in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.
- Resolving technical issues as necessary.
