Medtronic is looking to hire a Software Engineer II to join their cloud data engineering team. This role will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and operating a state-of-the-art data mart platform, leveraging cloud-native tooling to automate operational tasks and integrate with external systems. The goal is to optimize performance, efficiency, and cost to provide value for the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) business and customers, ultimately impacting patient lives.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience working with CI/CD tools
- Demonstrated experience in AWS and AWS native tools (some examples are Glue, Lambda, EMR, Athena, Data Lake Formation)
- Experience in Cloud native tools
- 2+ Python development experience (or similar scripting language)
- Git experience
- Demonstrated experience automating routine tasks
- On call support experience
Responsibilities
- developing, monitoring, and operating our state-of-the-art data mart platform

- Design and deploy CI/CD pipelines
- Design proactive monitoring and alerting
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in accordance to SLA
