Microsoft is looking to solve the problem of developing, deploying, and operating Azure services within an air-gapped environment, ensuring these systems meet the security policy and assurance requirements of both public and private sector customers, particularly in highly secured and regulated industries.
Requirements
- coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
Responsibilities
- Develop features, improvements, enhancements, and bugfixes within Azure Data products
- Deploy and operate Azure services within an air-gapped environment
- Develop systems and software required to meet the security policy and assurance requirements of both public and private sector customers
- Defines and develops standardized, repeatable, scalable solutions to guarantee quality
- Develops “best-in-class” engineering for our services by ensuring that the services and the components are well-defined and modularized, secure, reliable, diagnosable, actively monitored and reusable
- Improves test coverage for services, organizes and implements integration tests, and resolves problem areas
- Contributes to the development of automation within production and deployment of a complex product feature

- Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
- The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph.
