Microsoft is looking to solve problems related to the development, deployment, and operation of Azure Data products within a highly secured and regulated, air-gapped environment, ensuring compliance with strict security policies and assurance requirements for both public and private sector customers.
Requirements
- 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Develops features, improvements, enhancements, and bugfixes within Azure Data products.
- Deploys and operates Azure services within an air-gapped environment.
- Develops “best-in-class” engineering for our services by ensuring that the services and the components are well-defined and modularized, secure, reliable, diagnosable, actively monitored and reusable.
- Improves test coverage for services, organizes and implements integration tests, and resolves problem areas.
- Contributes to the development of automation within production and deployment of a complex product feature.
- Drives efforts to collect, classify, and analyze data on a range of metrics (e.g., health of the system, where bugs might be occurring).
- Drives sustaining feedback loops from telemetry resulting in subsequent designs.

- Candidates must be able to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
- The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph.
