Microsoft is looking to develop features, improvements, enhancements, and bugfixes within Azure Data products to meet the security policy and assurance requirements of both public and private sector customers.
Requirements
- Coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Experience with Azure services
- Knowledge of security policy and assurance requirements
- Experience with automation of production and deployment processes
- Experience with telemetry and data analytics
- Experience with scalable, secure, and reliable solution design
- Experience with integration tests and test coverage improvement
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, secure, and reliable solutions for Azure Data services, ensuring high quality and modularity.
- Improve test coverage, implement integration tests, and address issues to enhance service reliability and maintainability.
- Automate production and deployment processes, running code in non-production environments to ensure functionality.
- Uphold compliance with security, privacy, safety, and accessibility standards, and demonstrate product compliance.
- Integrate telemetry and data analytics to monitor system health, drive product refinement, and inform engineering decisions.
- Maintain live service operations, respond promptly to incidents, and implement solutions to complex issues as they arise.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement, sharing postmortem insights with the team.
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 2+ years technical engineering experience
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with Polygraph
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
- U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions
