RTX's Pratt & Whitney is seeking to transform the future of flight by designing, building, and servicing advanced gas turbine engines. The Control & Diagnostic Systems (CDS) organization needs to ensure the cybersecurity of these systems throughout their lifecycle, from development to certification and ongoing support, to make a difference in aviation cybersecurity.
Requirements
- Experience with tailoring and hardening of operating systems
- Experience with system and application penetration testing
- Experience with SAST and analyzing security impact of code defects
- Experience with Fuzzing / Resiliency Tests
- Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
Responsibilities
- Assist in analyzing system data flows to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
- Support the development of secure product designs
- Develop, deploy and automate security tools for identifying product security flaws
- Collaborate with teams to ensure compliance with cybersecurity requirements during product development stages.
- Participate in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and other security evaluations under supervision.
- Support organizational adoption of the Avionics Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC)
Other
- Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field
- Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering
- Coursework with a focus in Cybersecurity
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
