Credit Acceptance is looking to hire a Software Engineer II to design and develop software, improve existing code, and ensure software quality through testing and debugging.
Requirements
- creating detailed design documents based on business requirements
- changing existing code
- managing applications with login functionality
- developing REST-based web services
- debugging
- use of Java
- use of Mockito, JUnit, and SpringBoot
Responsibilities
- Design and develop software.
- Improve existing code.
- Apply team coding, documenting, and testing standards.
- Participate in code reviews and communicate application changes.
- Write unit tests and validate software against acceptance criteria.
- Debug problems.
- Guide and aid less experienced software engineers.
Other
- Requires bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related field and one year of experience with software development.
