Hudl is looking to improve their fan experience by bringing teams and athletes closer to their fans through a new fan experience platform. This involves enhancing video livestreaming infrastructure across web, mobile, and TV apps, and delivering full-stack web and mobile features rapidly.
Requirements
- Exposure to mature, full-stack web application code.
- 2+ years of experience building across many levels of a web application, from client-side code down to the database.
- Professional background in C, React, MongoDB and/or AWS.
- Video processing and storage experience.
- Experience with tools like ffmpeg, or video livestreaming protocols like HLS, RTMP, SRT, or similar.
- Mobile development know-how.
- Experience with React Native or mobile development (native iOS or Android).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate by working closely with a cross-functional team across Engineering, Quality, Product, Design, and Scrum, you’ll help improve our video livestreaming infrastructure on our web, mobile, and TV apps.
- Deliver full-stack web and mobile features.
- Propose new solutions.
- Provide guidance to less experienced engineers.
- Iterate rapidly and deploy changes to the product hundreds of times a day across our engineering team.
