Nuna is looking to make high-quality healthcare affordable for everyone by tackling the US healthcare system with ingenuity, creativity, and a keen moral compass, specifically by building a consumer-facing portal to manage communication and PHI data transactions.
Requirements
- Knowledge of React (state management, call backs, etc) and experience building component-based UIs
- Experience building frontend applications with a focus on modular design
- Ability to write clearly and document their ideas
- Experience making minor updates to existing APIs in a service-oriented system architecture
- Basic knowledge of API design necessary to draft contracts for frontend integration
- Familiarity with backend languages such as Java or Kotlin
- Knowledge of multi-tenant enterprise web applications with a focus on scalability
Responsibilities
- Build innovative and beautiful data visualizations that illuminate the path towards higher quality care at lower cost
- Design schemas in partnership with the data engineers and health data experts that can quickly serve results and generate reports
- Build a well-tested, continuously-deployable, and high-quality codebase that supports developer velocity and exceptional reliability

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field

- Curiosity for learning, being a self-starter who is eager to try new things
- 2+ years of experience in a full-time software engineering role
- Ability to work across teams and regularly meet ambitious, often self-defined, delivery deadlines
