Requirements
- Over 4 years of hands-on experience with full stack development.
- Module-level leadership experience for small to medium-sized projects.
- Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles.
- Expertise in Microservices architecture, SOA, and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Proficiency in Web services development using SOAP and REST protocols.
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Solid development skills in React, NodeJS, Java, Spring Boot, J2EE, and enterprise technologies such as JMS, JDBC, JMX, JTA.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop technical solutions that align with user needs, ensuring functionality, performance, scalability, and system reliability.
- Provide module-level leadership in architecture, design, and development for medium to large-sized projects, including ongoing maintenance of client-facing API banking systems.
- Contribute to the establishment and enforcement of department best practices, coding standards, and guidelines.
- Build and maintain large-scale software platforms, ensuring robustness and security.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and implement effective solutions.
- Abstract, refactor, and test solutions to improve code quality and maintainability.
- Work proactively to identify potential system improvements and contribute to continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with a minimum of 2 years of application software programming experience.
- Alternatively, High School Diploma or GED with at least 6 years of relevant software development experience.
- Current contractor or contingent worker for First Citizens Bank (preferred).
- Knowledge of First Citizens Bank systems and processes (preferred).
- Mentor junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative development environment.
