Care.com is reimagining its tech stacks and consolidating to a single cloud native platform to enable faster testing and learning. The new platform is composed of gRPC microservices and Lambdas in Go, Kafka streams, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch, GraphQL, and micro-frontends on Node and React.
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience using Java and J2EE technologies
- 1+ years of professional experience using React
- 1+ years Golang experience preferred
- Experience with both Monolith and Microservices architecture preferred
- AWS experience
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, development, testing, documentation, and implementation of new product features.
- Participate in code reviews, ensuring accuracy, performance, and overall quality of the work.
- Assist in creating architecture and design documents, project timelines, and user stories.
- Work effectively in a distributed development environment.
- Continuously learn and develop technical skills while supporting team members’ growth.
- Collaborate with product management to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Work cross-functionally with other teams to drive projects forward.
