The Franchise Technology and Services team at Mojang Studios is looking for a developer to drive the timely delivery of next generation game technology and foundations for Minecraft.
Requirements
- Experience writing cloud-based web services, preferably in Azure .
- Understanding of Azure for compute, storage, cache, and Virtual Machines (VMs), or comparable cloud-based web services.
- Understanding of test- and performance-driven methodology to build services.
- coding in languages including, but not limited to, C-Sharp, Java
- We need to ensure that our services are both robust and handle extremely high scale.
Responsibilities
- Designing, Developing and Coordinating features using Microsoft Azure compute and Storage
- Ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables with extensible and maintainable quality code
- Actively communicate within and across teams to reach successful outcomes through collaboration
- Building partnerships with developers, program managers, and designers

- define and implement the quality criteria for their products and services, using measurements and insights to understand and validate the quality of experience for customers
