Requirements
- 2+ years of experience writing software and a strong engineering background
- Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Typescript, Python, Java, Kotlin, or Ruby
- Continuous Integration: CircleCI and Github
- Frontend: React, Redux, and Jest
- Backend: Node.js and Typescript
- Data: MySQL RDS, Snowflake
- Cloud Infrastructure: AWS using Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, and Docker
Responsibilities
- Build highly available, secure, distributed systems in a microservice architecture
- Design, develop, test, and maintain systems that represent the real-world intricacies of logistics entities, such as shipments, pallets, appointments, and SKUs
- Obsess over metrics to identify issues and high-impact problems that are worth solving
- Work closely with product managers, support, and operations teams to distill complex operational problems into elegant technical solutions
- Be part of a close-knit engineering team that ships new code with every PR, every day
- Optimizing the placement of inventory to simplify the merchant inbounding process, lower fulfillment costs, and reduce delivery times
- Connecting multiple inbound systems to easily locate and process all inbound containers within our network
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
