Agile Defense is seeking an Oracle Database Engineer to support the seamless integration of advanced technologies, elite minds, and unparalleled agility to strengthen and protect the nation's vital interests.
Requirements
- Oracle DBA experience (19c pluggable database)
- Software installation; Patching; Upgrades
- Work with Oracle support on issues and bug fixes
- Manage tablespaces
- Account management
- Performance tuning
- Troubleshooting database and debugging PLSQL
Responsibilities
- Administer Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) application tier
- Patch application tier using utilities like adpatch and AD Online Patching (ADOP)
- Clone EBS environments
- Assist in preparing and providing custom reports from the application as requested
- Provide support for downstream testing efforts and defect resolution
- Work with other agile teams to effectively design, build, and deliver cloud-based solutions
- Work with other teams to coordinate integration testing across multiple (more than 3) teams
Other
- Public Trust clearance requires a background investigation (BI) and entry on duty (EOD) status.
- Candidates with existing or recently completed Public Trust background investigations are preferred.
- Participate in design meetings with other projects and the client’s technical specialists
- Participate in daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint demos, and other agile ceremonies
