WGU is looking to expand access to higher education through online, competency-based degree programs and needs a skilled Salesforce developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs.
- Proven experience with Salesforce configuration, integrations, and deployment tools (Gearset, Copado, or similar).
- Solid understanding of Salesforce data architecture, security model, and governor limits.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required; Platform Developer II or Salesforce Administrator certifications are a plus.
- Experience with IntellliJ/VS Code, JIRA, GIT
- Experience with Agile/Scrum Project Development
- Experience with Java or a similar Object-oriented language
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, LWC, Visualforce, and Flow.
- Acts as a contributing member in assigned area within software engineering.
- Maintains accountability for quality of services in their assigned area and success of assigned projects for on-time, on-budget, and on-scope delivery.
- Demonstrates competence in both general software engineering as well as at least one sub-discipline (databases, middleware, UI development, etc.).
- Contributes formally and informally to effectiveness of the team.
- Participates in knowledge-transfer activities to increase their expertise and contribution.
- Applies strategies and tools to plan and execute testing strategies to find the ‘sweet spot’ that maximizes quality while minimizing costs.
