Akamai is looking to optimize and enhance IT service delivery processes, improve efficiency, and drive continuous improvement using ServiceNow capabilities by hiring a Software Engineer II.
Requirements
- Have ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA), ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in various modules.
- Have good understanding of ITIL processes, IT service management concepts, and experience with the ServiceNow Customer Service Management module.
- Possess experience in ServiceNow scripting languages (JavaScript, GlideScript, etc.), and integrations using REST and SOAP APIs
Responsibilities
- Developing and enhancing ITSM processes including Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Asset Management, Service Catalog.
- Developing and maintaining scripts, integrations, and APIs to extend ServiceNow's functionality and integrate with other systems.
- Creating and maintaining workflows, business rules, UI policies, detailed technical and specifications and documentation.
- Working closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to identify areas for process improvement and automation using ServiceNow capabilities.
- Presenting status updates to key stakeholders while participating in software design and project planning and monitoring its performance in production
Other
- Have 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or it's equivalent.
