Requirements
- 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- 2+ years of experience in data processing and developing insights in SQL, KQL, Spark or Scala
- 5+ years of experience developing services and platforms in Cloud, preferably Azure
- 2+ years of experience deploying and managing distributed services or platforms
- Demonstrated technical ability driving design architecture across multiple product and services dependencies
- Experience with C, C++, C-Sharp, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Experience with SQL, KQL, Spark or Scala
Responsibilities
- Influence and align the platform/product vision by collaborating with partners, product management, and engineering teams
- Work across the stack — from UI to backend — with a bias for impact and iteration
- Drive engineering excellence through thoughtful technical design, automated testing, observability, and operational rigor
- Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies, patterns, and best practices in AI, distributed systems, and cloud-native development
- Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and guides other engineers by developing and following the playbook, working on call to monitor system/product/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions, alerting stakeholders about status and initiates actions to restore system/product/service for simple and complex problems when appropriate

Other
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements
- Must pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field (preferred)
- Ability to work in a startup-like environment with enterprise-level impact
