Cayuse Civil Services, LLC is looking for a Software Engineer III - UI Developer to design, develop, enhance, and maintain front-end user interfaces for enterprise applications, focusing on creating robust, scalable, and accessible UI applications.

Requirements

  • 8 years Hands-on experience in Front End/UI development, enhancing and maintaining enterprise-class applications using Angular and/or similar frameworks on the J2EE application development platform.
  • 8 years Required Hands-on experience participating in all phases of the SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle).
  • 8 years Hands-on UI development experience implementing Authentication and Authorization, Caching strategies.
  • 8 years Hands-on programming experience in following languages: HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS, Angular, Typescript, JSON, XML, ES5/ES6, NPM, Maven and/or other UI frameworks/libraries.
  • 8 years Demonstrable experience developing, optimizing, and maintaining an enterprise-level Front End/UI application including complete ownership of the front-end stack (JavaScript/HTML/CSS, Angular and/or other UI frameworks).
  • 8 years Required Experience implementing Client-facing applications with responsive design and development.
  • 8 years Required Experience implementing SPAs with JS or with libraries/frameworks like Angular.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain front-end user interfaces using Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for enterprise applications.
  • Implement ADA/Accessibility compliance standards for UI designs to ensure inclusivity for all users.
  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Follow Agile development principles, contributing to iterative planning sessions, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Debug, optimize, and update front-end UI elements to enhance performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Execute Test-Driven Development (TDD) using tools such as Karma, Jasmine, and Selenium to increase code reliability.
  • Integrate responsive design best practices to create consistent user experiences across devices and platforms.

Other

  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Ability to work on-site in Austin, Texas
  • 3 days remote, 2 days (Monday & Tuesday) required to be on-site.
  • Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.
  • May be asked to work a flexible schedule which may include holidays.
