At Bank of America, the business problem is to support the expanding and revenue generating Axia/Healthcare Payments platform, which is the bank's first AWS hosted In-Production platform, by resolving the critical risk on AWS / Cloud / Container knowledge within global tech.
Requirements
- 5 Year's Experience in Cloud Application Development using AWS/Azure/Containers
- Proficient in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure on AWS / Azure of Containers
- Expertise in building microservices and deploying the workloads via CICD
- Expert in application architecture, system performance optimization and solving complex problems
- Previous experience in C, Redis, Leading agile/scrum development team
- Proficient in JAVA development, including Spring Boot and RESTful APIs
Responsibilities
- Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
- Designs, develops, and modifies architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained
- Mentors other software engineers and coach team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack
- Executes story refinement, definition of requirements, and estimating work necessary to realize a story through the delivery lifecycle
- Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
- Automates manual release activities
- Designs, develops, and maintains automated test suites (integration, regression, performance)
