LexisNexis Risk Solutions needs to provide customers with solutions and decision tools that combine public and industry specific content with advanced technology and analytics to assist them in evaluating and predicting risk and enhancing operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Software Engineering experience
- Proficiency in development languages including but not limited to: Java/J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C/C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows and Python.
- Proficiency in Azure and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity of industry best practices — code coverage.
- Ability to write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Knowledge of test-driven development.
Responsibilities
- Individuals are responsible for basic reliability and other projects.
- At this level SREs can observe the performance of a system and configure proactive alerting to protect service levels.
- SREs are ready to join the on-call rotation.
- They can participate in disaster recovery tests in production environments.
- They may train new team members.
- Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures
- Create sustainable systems and services through automation.
