Solution One Industries, Inc (SOI) is looking for a Software Engineer III to support software development across engineering applications, including embedded systems, operating systems, and network software. The candidate will assist in designing tools, analyzing user needs, and developing effective software solutions.
Requirements
- At least 5-7 years of experience in configuration management, including experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), version control systems (e.g., Git), and ITIL framework.
- ITIL Foundation certification or Certified Configuration Manager (CCM) is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software for a variety of engineering applications.
- Assist in developing tools and interfaces
- Assist in design, development, and testing of operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software applications
- Assist in setting operational specifications and formulating and analyzing software requirements
- Assist in designing embedded systems software
- Analyze user needs; develop and design software solutions

- An active DoD Secret Clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
