Panasonic Energy is looking for a Software Engineer III to work in a mission-critical and growth-driven environment, responsible for designing, coding, unit testing, deployment, and documentation of various software systems supporting an industry-leading battery assembly line.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in an agile software development environment
- 5+ years of experience in frontend technology such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/Typescript frameworks
- 5+ years of experience working with microservice-based architecture
- Exposure to CI/CD tools
- Proven experience with Change Management, Problem Management, and Incident Management processes.
- Experience in both Frontend and Backend Development
- 4+ years of experience working with Postgres/Oracle or other Relational Databases
Responsibilities
- Works with levels I & II to write quality test-driven and well-documented code in a highly collaborative environment across the entire software stack.
- Works with Sr. Engineers to design, maintain, and iterate on high-availability, low-latency applications relating to battery manufacturing.
- Pair remotely and in person with fellow developers.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of software trends and best practices
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of battery production operations
- Provide time-sensitive support and bug fixes
- Train both technical and non-technical staff in new software operations
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an engineering discipline, and/or equivalent related work experience
- Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English
- Must be willing to support applications during off hours in case of an outage
- Pre-employment drug testing is required
- Valid authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction
