Sev1Tech is seeking a Software Engineer III to support the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic) Expeditionary Enterprise Systems and Services (E2S2) Division, which provides design, acquisition, and sustainment services for Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Information Technology (IT) systems.

Requirements

  • Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification.
  • experience applying programming concepts in a professional or academic setting
  • notable experience with applying modern software development methodologies (e.g. agile, DEVOPS/DEVSECOPS) in a professional or academic setting.
  • Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM)/ Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) or with COR approval complete a vendor/platform specific certification:
  • Microsoft role-based certifications
  • Microsoft Certified Applicable Developer (MCAD)
  • Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA)

Responsibilities

  • research, design, and development of computer and network software or specialized utility programs which may include database maintenance within an application area.

Other

  • Active Top Secret Level Clearance
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field such as engineering or mathematics (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems)
  • Ten (10) years with Masters or 14 years with Bachelor’s degree of professional experience
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
  • Individual shall be working toward the relevant certifications within one and a half year after assuming duties
