Clayton Homes' Home Building Group Web team needs to design, build, and implement enterprise applications to support manufacturing, properties, and supply businesses. They are implementing SAAS products like Oracle ERP Cloud and Salesforce and require custom web applications to complement or extend these SAAS capabilities, creating unique business advantages.

Requirements

  • Experience with source control systems and CI/CD pipelines preferred.
  • Interfacing with existing applications built on REST
  • Understanding of security implications for designs and implementations
  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced, changing environment.
  • Experience with project tracking software, such as Jira and Agile Methodology.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in Sprint activities, such as planning, grooming and daily standups to deliver on commitments, continuously improve process and drive positive change.
  • Apply your skills in Software Development to help the team produce quality, on-time deliverables and apply root cause analysis to track down story bugs and production issues.
  • Build reliable and fault tolerant, extensible applications backed by unit testing and test automation.
  • Work directly with Team Leads, Business Users, Product Owners, Functional Analysts and other Engineers to build new projects and support existing applications.
  • Mentor junior team members through peer reviews and provide guidance on story implementation.
  • Provide root cause analysis for defects and production issues.
  • Lead design efforts for new functionality, create team understanding that aligns strategic and architectural goals and create appropriate design documentation.

  • 4+ years of Software Development experience
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize work with little direction.
  • Excellent analytical skills. Ability to weigh pros and cons of design choices and make suggestions to Management, Product Owners, and Team Members.
  • Can adapt quickly to changing processes and technologies.
  • Creates and promotes a collaborative environment fostering understanding of mutual goals.
