JPMorganChase is seeking to improve risk reporting solutions by sourcing data from various internal systems, integrating it into robust reporting solutions, and applying controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of risk data used in reporting
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python, with experience in data processing and automation
- Extensive experience in SQL, including development and performance tuning in at least one major SQL dialect (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
- Hands-on experience with Athena and Databricks SQL environments
- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and reporting best practices
- Experience with third-party SQL-based reporting platforms such as Cognos or Tableau
- Familiarity with risk management concepts and financial data
- Knowledge of cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain risk reporting solutions using Athena Python and Databricks SQL
- Optimize and tune SQL queries for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Collaborate with risk analysts and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver robust reporting solutions
- Integrate and automate data pipelines for risk data aggregation and reporting
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data quality, performance, and reporting accuracy
- Document technical solutions and provide knowledge transfer to team members
