Google's Cloud Artificial Intelligence (AI) Security and Compliance team is responsible for the security and compliance of Cloud AI products, aiming to integrate these non-functional requirements into product development through a virtual team of engineers.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience building software for data privacy or security (e.g., identity and access management).
- Experience analyzing and mitigating security vulnerabilities.
- Experience analyzing the security of systems (e.g., security testing, vulnerability scanning, threat modeling, etc.).
- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
- Experience implementing core Machine Learning (ML)/AI concepts.
Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Work with software engineers to understand system architecture, threat models, develop and implement tactical plans and long term plans for all Cloud AI Products.
- Analyze security findings and translate them into recommendations and actionable plans.
- Provide quantitative analysis focus, requiring interpretation of technical information from structured and unstructured sources.
- Serve as an escalation point for Cloud AI engineers and coordinate efforts with all of the internal stakeholders across the globe.
- Take accountability for driving the Security and Compliance program to achieve measurable reduction of open security issues and drive a discipline of security into engineering teams.
