The role will contribute to product launches, strategy execution, and shape the future of Pixel Camera Photography by pioneering advancements in computational photography.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages like C++
  • 2 years of experience with computational photography.
  • 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.
  • Experience in computational photography, computational optics, computer vision, or graphics.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
  • Applying excellent C++ programming skills or machine learning knowledge to computational photography issues.
  • Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
  • Develop Camera imaging and ML algorithm and solution for HDR+, the mobile imaging pipelines running on Pixel Camera.
  • Evaluate research papers in computational photography, computer vision, graphics, and Generative AI.

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
