Requirements
- Experience with modern languages and frameworks – React, Typescript, Python/Django or similar
- Strong technical leadership with a track record of driving measurable impact across the stack.
- Demonstrated proficiency in independent, hands-on coding and problem-solving, including handling complex edge cases, optimizing for efficiency, and delivering robust solutions within time constraints.
- A strong commitment to engineering best practices, including writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, and a proactive approach to managing technical debt.
Responsibilities
- Drive innovation and advance patient affordability by experimenting with and launching ML-powered payment features in collaboration with our AI and data science teams.
- Work on enhancing our checkout flow, which processes billions of dollars in payments annually.
- Mentor peer engineers to take ownership of their own projects.
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of new full-stack features.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
- Coordinate development efforts to deliver robust, production-ready software.
- Lead the design and implementation of new end-to-end, full-stack features.
