Requirements
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
- Experience with data modeling and with data pipelines.
- Experience with C++.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
- Design schema for client teams looking to build new experiences and build libraries for working with geographic data.
- Build and maintain infrastructure for guaranteeing consistency in Geo's data to keep our products reliable, and help drive efforts to adopt prototyping processes for data development.
- Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
