Requirements
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- 2 years of experience in backend and server-side programming.
- 2 years of experience with client-side web/app technologies and UI designs.
- 2 years of experience in Experiment Design.
- 2 years of experience in data analysis.
- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms in either an academic or industry setting.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
Responsibilities
- Write a product or system development code.
- Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
- Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
- Work across the new Search stack, implementing prompting up through custom User Interface (UI).
- Work directly with Product Managers (PM) and User Experience (UX) on feature scoping and development.
- Analyze evaluations, metrics, and logs to identify areas of focus and future development.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

- Preferred qualifications: Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience working on search stack (e.g., SuperRoot, MaRS, QRS).
- Ability to create interactive prototypes to explore, communicate and iterate on complex design solutions.
