Google Cloud's customers face critical business problems in leveraging GCP and hybrid cloud environments, and the company needs to develop innovative technical solutions to support these initiatives.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
- Experience building and deploying backend services.
- Experience programming in C++.
- Experience with security engineering for cloud infrastructure, including network security and authentication protocols.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform or other similar cloud technologies.
- Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems, with a focus on scalability, fault tolerance, and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Help build the next-generation workload identity solution.
- Design and implement high quality, reliable features and services.
- Collaborate with project manager, customers or other engineer to gather requirements.
- Be an expert in our identity solutions and support Google teams.
- Work with Site Reliability Engineering team to troubleshoot and identify production customer or system issues.
- Build innovative technical solutions in areas like workload identity, federation, multi-tenancy and security key techniques
- Develop and implement software utilizing multithreading, concurrency, or parallel processing.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
