Requirements
- Expertise in at least one technology stack designing, coding, testing, and delivering software
- Proficiency in one or more technology domains
- Proficiency in at least one systems programming language Python
- Understanding of some of the SRE concepts, such as Service Level Objectives and Error budgets
- Experience with Linux
- Experience in SRE toolchain such as Grafana, Splunk, DataDog, Geneos
- Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform
Responsibilities
- Executes software solutions, design, code, test, and deliver software to automate manual operational work
- Troubleshoot priority incidents, facilitate blameless post-mortems and ensure permanent closure of incidents
- Identify application patterns and analytics in support of better service level objectives
- Design self-healing and resiliency patterns
- Design automated software and product upgrades, change management, and release management solutions
- Help development teams with their CI/CD pipeline to increase velocity and improve quality
- Collaborate and influence across the organization on behalf of their application portfolio
Other
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Excellent debugging and trouble shooting skills
- Demonstrated experience as a DevOps Engineer, or Software engineer
- Proven experience as a software engineer
