Blue Origin is seeking a Software Engineer - III to build scalable solutions that automate business processes for their Supply Chain Technology team, aiming to create digital infrastructure for the entire Operations organization and support aerospace applications for Manufacturing and Supply Chain.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of proven experience writing software and deploying it to a production environment
  • Working proficiency in coding languages such as Python and Java
  • Demonstrated understanding of deploying web interfaces using React or similar frameworks
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Proficient in deployment services like git, Docker, and Kubernetes

Responsibilities

  • Write high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code in languages like Java, Python, and Javascript
  • Craft and build web interfaces in frameworks such as React and Angular
  • Collaborate with Data Scientists to implement and deploy ML models in production environments
  • Develop data architecture for our integration platform, which uses Spring Boot
  • Work with cloud platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
  • Implement containerization and orchestration technologies via services like git, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of tools, processes, and experiments
