JPMorgan Chase is looking to hire a Software Engineer III - QA Automation Selenium to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way, serving as a seasoned member of an agile team within the Consumer & Community Banking division.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
- Strong experience in developing test automation scripts with object-oriented programming languages such as Java using Eclipse/IntelliJ IDE
- Hand-on experience with Java and Selenium
- Upgrade/create new reusable tests framework for API and UI using Cucumber, Selenium, Java as per functional requirements.
- Overall knowledge in middleware technologies, Messaging queues and database
- Experience using continuous integration tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience in UI, Database and API testing.
Responsibilities
- Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
- Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
- Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
- Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
- Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
- Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
- Upgrade/create new reusable tests framework for API and UI using Cucumber, Selenium, Java as per functional requirements.
Other
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Experience in working with agile team and knowledgeable in agile methodology and Jira.
- Sound working experience of Java, Selenium, API/REST Services; web accessibility testing, including ADA compliance testing, to ensure applications meet accessibility standards and guidelines; expertise with tools and techniques for accessibility testing, such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, and color contrast analyzers.
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
- Exposure to cloud technologies
