The ADC Tiger Team (ATT) is looking to accelerate the ability to scale US Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) regions by supporting projects designed to deliver on top ADC priorities, contractual commitments, and automation projects that support Region Reliability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience with the Rust Programming Language and/or Java
- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions to address complex challenges and enhance the performance of ADC regions or tooling gaps
- Participate in the full project lifecycle, from idealization and scoping to implementation and deployment
- Coding in various languages to improve existing tools or develop new tooling or automation
- Communicate development project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders fostering transparency
- Automating ADC Region Operations
- ADC Top Development and Tooling Priorities
- Strategic Service Operations Improvements for US ADC Teams & Region Reliability
Other
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work
