Google's User Voice AI/ML team needs to onboard, maintain, and enhance ML infrastructure for user feedback products to build the next generation of user feedback tools. Several Google teams rely on these products for collecting, annotating, and analyzing user feedback. The role involves collaborating to build model serving, reduce training/deployment time for models, and develop critical applications and infrastructure for the ML platform.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience with software development in C++, Python, or Java programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- 1 year of experience with one or more of the following: Speech/audio (e.g., technology duplicating and responding to the human voice), reinforcement learning (e.g., sequential decision making), ML infrastructure, or specialization in another ML field.
- 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging).
- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
- Experience working with large-scale data processing and ML platforms.
- Experience with quality analysis and improvement using tools (e.g., A/B testing, experiment frameworks).
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain software systems for user feedback model serving.
- Prototype and build features and solutions in a changing environment.
- Collaborate with Engineers, Product Managers, and User Experience to complete tasks with less guidance from executives, and influence product requirements.
- Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).

- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
