Fidelity Investments is looking to increase efficiencies in testing and support squads in building highly stable applications that meet business needs by hiring a Software Engineer in Test.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software product experience working on commercially available software
- 3+ years of relevant technical experience and experience in test automation
- Experience in Agile / Scrum methodology
- Testing Process and automation experience
- Hands on experience with crafting and maintaining testing frameworks like Junit, Cucumber, Fitnesse
- Intermediate Java skills
- Good understanding of web services testing
- SQL skills is a must
- Data analysis and technical troubleshooting
Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining automated suites of tests to assess product quality and release readiness
- Implement test automation
- Execute manual testing
- Promote testing practices
- Implement test automation
- Complete testing in support of technology-based initiatives
- Collaborate with the team on improving test coverage and overall application health
Other
- Train squads on test management
- Financial services and agile experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or greater is required
- Most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of every other week in a Fidelity office.
