Pager Health needs a Software Engineer in Test (SDET) to ensure the highest quality standards for their software products by designing, developing, and executing automated tests.
Requirements
- Proven proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, JavaScript, or C
- Expertise in test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress
- Comprehensive understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Familiarity with performance testing and load testing techniques using observability tools such as New Relic and Data Dog
- Experience with mobile testing frameworks and tools
- Expertise with GCP, AWS or Azure
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automated tests using various programming languages and frameworks
- Implement test automation strategies within the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Execute automated and manual tests, analyze results, and identify software defects
- Collaborate with engineers and product teams to improve test coverage and effectiveness
- Stay abreast of emerging testing tools, technologies, and methodologies
Other
- 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer. Prior Software Engineer Experience is required
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
