At PNC, the business problem is to automate the creation and submission of regulatory reports as they pertain to the Canadian Government's Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC), Canada's financial intelligence unit, utilizing FRE daily, a vendor software-based solution.
Requirements
- Development experience in ETL – Informatica Power Center / Power Exchange / Oracle (SQL/PL SQL), Scripting Language (Shell/UNIX).
- NAVAERA Tools understanding for LCTR/EFTR reporting , event generation, referral creation and filing workflow.
- Ability to create the data mapping understanding NAVAERA Data model and STM.
- Actimize – CTR processing for Regulatory reporting ,understanding Data model ,creating Data mapping and Build ETL pipelines for Data Integration.
- Develop the ETL mapping as per technical specifications documents with all the transformations and the business logic between the source and target.
- Experience in integration of various Operational Data Source (ODS) with Multiple Relational Databases like Oracle, Teradata and Worked on integrating data from flat files like fixed width and delimited.
- Good experience in Data Extraction, Transformation, Loading from data sources like Oracle 12c/11g.10g.9i/8i,Teradata, XML, Flat files, COBOL and VSAM files.
Responsibilities

- Maintains and debugs software.
- Develop the ETL mapping as per technical specifications documents with all the transformations and the business logic between the source and target.
- Champion of implementing an Agile based methodology for ETL development across major projects.
Other
- The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.
