The Conversions collection and processing team in Google Ads needs to revamp its infrastructure to dynamically unify, simplify, and scale it to support new use cases due to the rapidly evolving conversion landscape driven by new privacy APIs and regulations.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience with C++ programming, multithreading, data structures, and algorithms.
- 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
- 2 years of experience with performance systems, large-scale data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
- Experience working with two or more from the following: Unix/Linux environments, mobile application development, distributed and parallel systems, Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, Natural Language Processing, networking, developing large software systems, architecture, or security software development.
- Proficiency in code and system health, diagnosis and resolution, and software test engineering.
Responsibilities
- Write a product or system development code.
- Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
- Review code developed by other developers, provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
- Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
- The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
