UPMC is hiring a Software Engineer- Intermediate (ReactJS) to support the UPMC Bridges Program, a large-scale project aimed at creating the future of care at UPMC.

- Experience with Azure or AWS; having at least one cloud experience
- Experience with Azure Devops, Jira etc. for work item management and deployments
- Experience with complex development environments, taking abstract concepts and ideas and formulating a detailed software deliverable
- Deep knowledge of developing complete systems.
Responsibilities
- The person in this role will primarily design, develop, test and maintain software applications and systems
- They will assist the operations team in answering questions and resolving any production bugs.
- Demonstrate the understanding of multiple SDLCs.
- Validate and review secure processes and protocols.
- Solve multiple issues concurrently.
- Demonstrate the ability to conduct code review of others.
- Implement the overall system design.

- Fully Remote Opportunity. Must be willing to work Eastern Time.
- Must be willing to be part of on-call rotation roughly every 14 weeks or so for 1 whole week taking care of off-hour tickets (evenings and weekends).
