Qorvo is looking to solve complex technical challenges in the semiconductor industry, including consumer electronics, smart home/IoT, automotive, EVs, battery-powered appliances, network infrastructure, healthcare, and aerospace/defense.
Requirements
- Proficiency with at least one object-oriented language (e.g., C-Sharp, JavaScript, Python) in addition to familiarity with web and front-end frameworks (.NET, Django, React, Knockout JS)
- Understanding of structured refactoring methodologies
- Capability implementing selected design patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM)
- Familiarity with developing and consuming web services
- Familiarity with Windows Services
- Exposure to containerization and orchestration preferably Docker
- Experience with file parsing, sharing and transfer mechanisms, XML/JSON file formats
Responsibilities
- Support existing desktop and web applications using Microsoft technologies.
- Software development, deployment, and troubleshooting of customer-centric services and applications for manufacturing automation.
- Partnering tightly with cross-site Manufacturing Systems team members and subject matter experts to determine requirements are meeting client area expectations.
- Develop and write clean, functional, and testable software applications.
- Drive technical and other SDLC improvements in collaboration with other technical team members.
- Initiate and/or participate in established source code change management best practice, and software documentation.
Other
- Currently enrolled in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline with completion of at least two years of school prior to beginning of internship.
- 3.0 GPA or higher
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team environment
