Visionist is seeking Software Engineering Interns to work on small development teams to design real-world applications using current technologies, gaining exposure to industry practices like agile development and participating in the AFCEA SIPS competition.
Requirements
- Proven application development experience either from a school related project, personal projects or past internships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to demonstrate initiative

Responsibilities
- Work on a group project that includes backend, user-interface, and content management
- Participate in the full development life cycle including research, design, testing and running the systems
- Explore new technologies and have fun finding the best tools (while Java is the primary language, you can also expect to use React, JavaScript, and AWS)
- Develop a working knowledge of GitHub using pull requests, feature branching and code versioning
- Gain debugging and problem-solving skills, along with oral and written communication skills
- Explore new technologies and work the with most advanced tools
Other
- Expected Dec 2026 or May 2027 graduation with a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field

- U.S citizenship required (green card holders and permanent residents are not eligible).
